• The plugins from Sliced Invoices are not bad… but the company itself appears to be operated by knuckleheads.

    Literally EVERY single interaction with the company is a problem. I bought two paid extensions and both times they failed to email me a receipt. I received the Paypal receipt but nothing from Sliced Invoices (ie: no validation code).

    I just bought a paid extension and when I went to download it, their website has a database error.

    Email them for premium support… no answer.

    They need to get their act together or making a good plugin is worthless.

    UPDATE: The Sliced Invoices team have responded quickly and professionally and have rectified any problems I had. Thus, my review can be based solely on the quality of their plugin, now that support issues have been dealt with properly. So, I am revising my rating to 4 stars because the plugin itself is very good.

    My name is Brant and I am the knucklehead you are referring to. Sliced Invoices is a small business run solely by myself.

    I’m sorry you are having issues and I’m sorry I have not responded sooner. It is 7.45am here in Australia so I have been sleeping. We are not a large company, and in fact it is just myself running this business, so I cannot answer support queries 24 hours a day.

    Our license (validation) system is reasonably new and there has been some hiccups. You emailed me on the 23rd of May asking for the license key, which I sent you that day.

    Then on June the 1st, you asked for it again and I sent it again the same day. You said that you never received the first email.

    I have just sent you the extension that you could not download (9 hours after you asked for it).

    So, yes there has been some issues for you, but I have endeavored to fix them for you every step of the way.

    I’m sorry you’ve had issues. these things some times happen, but I have tried to fix them for you and 1 star reviews hurt small plugins such as this. I’d ask you to consider changing your rating as you clearly don’t have an issue with the plugin itself.

    Thank you for your response. Sorry, if my review was harsh but it wasn’t my first problem with the ordering of your paid plugin extensions, or your website functionality. Also, the plugin I most recently purchased (which I did indeed receive 9 hours later) was advertised as “Instant Download” which most paid plugins should be.

    I appreciate your responding and your dedication to making things right.

    I think it was a harsh review. Errors happen and you are obviously still using the plugin (and I assume happy with it).
    I’ve tried to clear up all your issues, which I think I have, so wondering if you still think the plugin deserves a 1 star rating?
