After changing the hosting provider Koko Analytics does not work properly any more. It shows no new visitor data. The old visitor data from the time before the change of the provider are still shown.

The Advanced Cron Manager indicates no task that stays stuck on top of the queue.

The path to functions.php file in the Koko Analytics plugin directory is there, but there is no pageviews.php in the path to the pageviews.php file in uploads directory. A search through all my files did not find the file pageviews.php.

What can be done to make Koko Analytics work again while keeping the old visitor data? Thank you in advance for your help.

    Hello @segafredo,

If I go to the tracking endpoint on your website it looks like something is redirecting the request to your homepage: https://drstoll.de/koko-analytics-collect.php?p=735&nv=1&up=1&r=https://www.ads-software.com/

It’s impossible for me to tell what is causing this, but something on your new server is causing this redirect to happen instead of the request being handled by Koko Analytics (and writing a few bytes of data to said pageviews.php file). I would check your .htaccess settings and any plugins related to redirection or permalinks.

Hope that helps you find the culprit. Good luck!

    Hello @dvankooten,

the problem has been resolved by support of my ISP. For some reason the tracking endpoint file was found only in a dismissed staging site. The customer service of my ISP moved it to my current site and Koko Analytics started to track again.

Your info made it possible to find the culprit. Thank you for your fast help!

    Segafredo
