Kontrast hiding TinyMCE’s table border lines

Does Kontrast not play well with the TinyMCE plugins tables? I am trying to create tables on my page it only displays the bottom border line.

I know its the theme itself as if i switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen my table and column borders display correctly and if i switch back to the Kontrast theme my border lines go away except the bottom one.

They display the same on firefox, chrome, and IE11.
