Kubric Header Spacing Issue

I recently tried adding several RSS feeds with icons to my site’s sidebar at https://www.yrfriendmatthew.com, based on the code below:

The icons and links aren’t showing up, but there appears to be a white space in the sidebar above the ‘search’ bar where it should be. Do I need to put additional coding in the CSS pointing to the RSS feeds, or in another php? I am not sure why nothing, not even a broken image link, would show up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
