Kubrick Sidebar RSS Feeds Not Showing Up
-
Hello all,
I’m trying to add a small table to my sidebar above the ‘search’ box containing several RSS feeds (MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) and their icons on my site https://www.yrfriendmatthew.com. I used the code below from https://mishkanyc.com/bloglin/ as I like how they set it up:
div id="sidebar"> <ul> <li> <b>Return to <a href="https://www.mishkanyc.com/">MishkaNYC.com</a></b> </li> <li> <table width="190" height="30" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"> <tr> <td><a href="https://feeds.feedburner.com/mishkabloglin"><img src="/images/MediaIconsBloglin_01.png" width="31" border="0" height="30" alt="" /></a></td> <td><a target="_blank" href="https://www.myspace.com/mishkanyc"><img src="/images/MediaIconsBloglin_02.png" width="33" border="0" height="30" alt="" /></a></td> <td><a target="_blank" href="https://www.facebook.com/people/Mishka-Nyc/551168110"><img src="/images/MediaIconsBloglin_03.png" width="32" border="0" height="30" alt="" /></a></td> <td><a target="_blank" href="https://www.twitter.com/mishkanyc"><img src="/images/MediaIconsBloglin_04.png" width="34" border="0" height="30" alt="" /></a></td> <td><a target="_blank" href="https://www.youtube.com/MishkaNYC"><img src="/images/MediaIconsBloglin_05.png" width="31" border="0" height="30" alt="" /></a></td> <td><a target="_blank" href="https://www.imeem.com/people/RG2NnlW"><img src="/images/MediaIconsBloglin_06.png" width="29" border="0" height="30" alt="" /></a></td> </tr> </table> </li> ...and implemented it on my site in the sidebar.php as below:
<?php
/**
* @package WordPress
* @subpackage Default_Theme
*/
?>
<div id=”sidebar” role=”complementary”>-
<?php /* Widgetized sidebar, if you have the plugin installed. */

<table width=”190″ height=”30″ border=”0″ cellpadding=”0″ cellspacing=”0″>

<td><img src=”/images/myspace.png” width=”33″ border=”0″ height=”30″ alt=”” /></td>

Nothing shows up in my sidebar, not even a broken image link (and I made sure I changed the file names to match the files in my image folder currently). Is there something I’m missing, like adding additional information to the stylesheet or the function.php? Do I need to activate some plugin or widget before my sidebar can show something like this? I can’t think of any reason in particular it wouldn’t show up, as it’s just links with image icons attached to them in a table format.The strange thing is there appears to be a space in the sidebar for it- even though there’s nothing there the table seems to take up space in the sidebar, only adding to the confusion. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
