Label and placeholder text not showing

There is an open issue that can prevent the placeholder for the card number and CVV fields from being shown. This behavior essentially affects the majority of themes.
But the labels missing is a rather unusual problem and more likely related to your active theme.

Could you please give it a try with the default theme Storefront active to see if it makes a difference? With Storefront, I would expect the placeholders to still be empty but the labels should be visible.

Thanks for following this up. You were right, changing to a default theme does reveal the labels and corrects the format, but not the placeholder text for those 2 fields. The developer of the theme has added to their list for a new release. Look forward to when you can get the placeholder text to appear. https://braveart-studios.com/checkout/
