Label Estimating Site

  • Hello,

    Can someone guide me on how to create an ONLINE estimating site using wordpress?

    My products are paper auto adhesive LABELS

    Basically I need my customers to input:
    – LABEL shape
    – LABEL dimensions
    – LABEL material
    – LABEL quantity

    Then make some internal calculations and return an ESTIMATED PRICE on the page with the option to email the ESTIMATED PRICE, also keep record of the online estimates for further review, order.

    I have experience with FILEMAKER database design and basic WordPress template modification but I’m uncertain how to collect info from a page and store it in a database table, then make the calculations to return the final price and keep the record.

    Your help will be greatly appreciated.

  • I think, If you dont know anything about wordpress. You need to learn first. or You can use paid themes and maybe e-commerce plugin.

    Thanks for your comments.

    I know a bit about WordPress, but not certain about the METHOD, CODE or PROCEDURE to collect data on the QUOTES page and then use formulas to calculate the price of the desired Adhesive Label based on: -SHAPE, -DIMENSIONS, -MATERIAL and -QUANTITY.
    And then keep a record of the QUOTES generated.

    Is it JavaScript programming?

    I searched many days but can find anything on the web explaining how it is done.

    Andrew, I check woo commerce plugin and it can not do what I’m looking for.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
