• Fouth time I am posting. I guess this forum is just for fun because there is never acknowledgment and issue just never gets fixed.

Look at the post slug for example. Why is it so short?

I have to edit that often and can’t even see full name and can’t even select full content.

The beauty is in the details.

Frankly, I think it is a pain this constant updating and yet basic thing like this which is trivial to fix get no attention for 4 version releases.

Does anyone read these post that can change the code?

This is how Microsoft acted for years; throwing features out there but not fixing the simple basics of usability.

    Don’t go there Matt.

  • You have to constantly edit slugs why? Because you can’t/don’t use a permalink that lends itself to a “pretty” structure? Nah… I’ve been on your site, that can’t be the problem. Constant title typos that set the slug and then they don’t update by themselves once you change a post title to correct it? …maybe.

You do know about right click select all, and the dreaded “triple” left-click, not to mention keyboard select shorcuts, right?

Short text field in the slug edit? Huh? You can type in that field until Lindbergh finds the baby… the quick edit field too.

Probably just one of the reasons you were previously hacked.

Oranges are round, and bananas are yellow my friend. The… uhhh… “similarities” stop there. Your intent of that statement belies your understanding of the comparison.

So, what code revisions or improvements do you suggest to change the situation? You sure have been critical of WP Devs in your prior posts. Any contributions to the cause? They have a place for that here, you know…

    Meh. Armchair quarterbacking.

    Best wishes.
