    Thank you for writing.

However… there are many features you have obviously missed in the free version. You can see all the additional features this plugin offers on the main “description” page.

Yes, both TinyMCE Advanced and WP Edit both provide drag and drop functionality of the editor rows… but WP Edit goes further by adding additional, locally developed addons (such as advanced image and advanced link).

The Pro version goes further by using “Snidgets”; even more locally developed addons (like YouTube searches; or Format Painter button); and independent user options.

Regardless… thank you very much for posting.

@mythusmage I’ve deleted that other topic, I don’t want you to think that it was Josh.

If you do not like the answer to a topic then please do not create new topics for the same thing. It really doesn’t help and you can reply here to continue the conversation.

The only thing I ask is this: please remain positive.

if you have a legitimate support question for the WP Edit plugin then you are in the right place.

If you wish to use this plugin’s sub-forum to promote another plugin or cast aspersion in Josh’s direction then I’ll close this topic too.

Jan, that other post was me saying why I said the plugin was broken.

Is it broken as in something in the plugin isn’t working properly?

It’s broken in that many functions available in Tiny MCE by itself are now pay items in your plugin.

    Base features=free.

    Custom features=pay.

Learn the difference between base and custom features.

That’s not broken, that’s your preference. Broken would be “I tried this feature of the plugin and it was supposed to do XYZ and it did something else.”

If you do not like a free plugin then just don’t use it. If you wish to just pan the plugin due to your preferences then that’s not productive or even accurate and I’m closing this topic.
