Lacking Support

I am using a theme which recommended Contact Form 7, so I thought I would try it. However, it’s not very user friendly, and I have had to play around endlessly “guessing” what this means and that means. The documentation is sparse and not easy to make sense of.

I did ask for help with a short piece of code, and all I was given was a link to the documentation file. Writing back stating I didn’t understand it and just wanted to know what to put in one section… well I got crickets. I don’t feel the developer is interested (or maybe is too busy) in engaging with users. A good plugin is important, but the support is just as important.

Whether the program, once set up properly, works well, I can’t comment on. But the lack of support I received lets it down, as I was left hanging. I’ve moved to another contact form plugin.
