    A yep, I realise if you enable those options on the Menus screen, they appear in the Customizer options as well. The issue with that though is if you end up removing the Menus option (as is proposed for sometime), then there’s currently no way to enable those options in the existing solution

    Good feedback. You can enable the advanced menu properties such as Link Target, Title Attribute, CSS Classes, Link Relationship (XFN), and Description by clicking the gear icon on the main menus panel.

    I feel the advanced settings are a little hard to find, but no more than screen options in the admin page interface (not an argument for or against, just an observation). I also think it’s reasonable that the advanced settings aren’t front-and-center in the UI because they are unlikely to be used by most people.
