I have a problem with scrolling on my blog posts. When I’m scrolling over the sidebar, and move the pointer over to the content area while I keep scrolling, it keeps scrolling the sidebar. Only when I pause scrolling, is it able to detect the shift in the position of the pointer. And vice-versa.

By what means do you keep scrolling the sidebar while you are moving your pointer to content? Touchscreen? Arrow key? Mouse wheel? I don’t see any unusual behavior with your site on my computer, but maybe I’m not replicating what you are doing correctly. In any case what you describe is more likely hardware related than related to anything WP is doing.

Unless you have some script running on the page, once the page is loaded, WP is no longer part of any behavior brought on by the user. It’s all browser and hardware related.
