• Hi, I’m new to blogging (yay!).

I’ve noticed that whenever I make a change to my blog that for certain changes, it might take up to a day for me to see the results.

I can change text color & create a new post – that stuff shows up immediately for me. However, whenever I go into my sidebar.php file, for example, and try to rearrange the order of things, it might take an hour, it might take a day. I have a non-widget theme, so I’m cutting/pasting the code around a bit. This time lag is kind of odd and makes it hard to customize my blog b/c I can’t see the imediate results.

You should know that my blog is being hosted by yahoo on my business website. So I’m not sure if this is a WordPress question or a Yahoo question. What are some things that I can tell you about my Yahoo hosting that would help track down the problem?

    Here’s my blog: https://photobyfritty.com/blog1/

It’s still a work in progress, so please don’t comment on the out of place slideshow on the sidebar. LOL! =)

Thanks so much in advance for any thoughts/comments you have on this. I’m getting frustrated with the process, but I have become addicted to blogging! =)

  • Doesn’t Yahoo automatically install wp-cache? If so, after making changes, go to Options -> WP-Cache.
Scroll down to the bottom and click “Delete Cache”.
    Refresh your blog’s page.
