And you give it a 1-star, right? ?? Okay, please don’t use the plugin, I’m sure your WordPress website deserves better.
Maybe you feel pissed of, but see the other side:
you promote your plugin with:
“a full IDE inside your WordPress”I spent 5 minutes to see that it is not working in a fresh install.
So, i don’t know why to give more than one star?
If it is working (somewhat): 3 stars
It is working as described: 5 starsSure, it can always be a matter of hosting;
the other way is: a good developer makes some checks for used functions, and throws at least an error which describes the malfunction ??I don’t want to say: your plugin is ugly.
I give 1 star because it is not working and i don’t get feedback why.Well, looks like you’re the one not seeing the “other side”. So, let’s really go into details:
– You download a plugin for FREE made by someone in their private time and provided to you at no cost
– You spent “5” minutes to see that “it is not working in a fresh install” although the author spent hours and days making it work on a fresh install
– There’s thousands of people using the plugin without your issue – but your conclusion is not “it’s not working on MY instance” but “it’s not working” and you give it one starNow, let’s go into details about your absurd comment:

– Yes, and in 99% cases it is either that or either a conflicting plugin. I didn’t make WordPress and didn’t make the rules how plugins work. – No, you gave it 1 star before getting any feedback and there’s a big difference there.To sum up – no, I am not gonna waste a single minute time supporting a piece of code I’ve built ages ago because some arrogant WP user gives it one star and expects me to ignore my life so that I can commit to understanding why the hell my plugin doesn’t work on his WP instance.
The only reason I’ve written this and spent 5 minutes on it is so that it can stay here and explain the subject to all the other fine gentlemen out there thinking software should be free and devs should waste their time building it, supporting it and maintaining for them it so that they can sit in their comfortable chair, install plugins and do whatever they do.

You are so touchy its crazy! All the guy did was post his problem, [and not rudely, might i add] but because he rated it low, and you didnt like it, you just went off on one at him! No helpful suggestions, no common solutions that most likely only you would know, just a sarcastic response about how he wounded your pride due to a SINGLE poor rating.
Its the same on other threads as well. On the other one everyone was simply asking for help, [no rating was included in this one] but did you help? No! And for no good reason. You just had a mini rant about having no donations and doing this for free, and having to maintain 6 other plugins…..

Hmm….yeah, but it’s just that I DID help in NUMEROUS threads but you just missed those, right? Mini rant about DONATIONS?? Really? I just mentioned that as a fact and proof that people ask for things but don’t give back. But you do twist those facts, do you now, troll?

@mdjekic: Although you may think your plugin is perfect there are always a few people out there that experience problems with it on there website. In this case I think that is all it is. There is no need to go insane over a one star review. It happens on almost every plugin in the WordPress directory that someone can’t get the plugin to work on there website and therefore gives it a one star review. Please don’t just freak out because you got a one star review. You didn’t even try to solve the problem but instead just immediately assumes that the reviewer was a troll.

@fearthemoose: @mdjekic is under no obligation to support his plugin. It is a free plugin and therefore you should not always excepted to get five star support. On the other hand @mdjekic, if you don’t support your plugin (not saying that you don’t) then you may very well receive a one star review here or there because someone couldn’t figure something out and couldn’t get a hold of you to solve the problem.

Agreed. Instead of any helpful suggestions you could have made, you just immediately went off into a rant about how @fearthemoose and @lonesomewalker are just trolls. This is not good support at all. It would have been better if you had just not replied then to start this great big argument. A one star review is not the end of the world and it is defiantly not something to freak out about.
Now I ask all of you to stop this argument. @mdjekic: If you are not going to try to help @lonesomewalker and @fearthemoose solve the problem then it is best that you do not reply any more to this review.
