• Is there a way to fix this so I can just go to WordPress from the root /var/www I can go to just /flavor and can see it but if I log in or any thing else it goes to /flavor/flavor.

In the Settings I have both WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) as /flavor.

I thinking have to do like a ../flavor or something like that?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Either localhost or 127.0.0.1 should take you directly to the server’s “public” root without specifying the intervening server path such as /var/www/html. Don’t confuse file paths and Internet URLs, even if it’s a LAN IP or localhost. The address you enter in WP settings should be an URL, not a file path. This means it should be something like https://127.0.0.1/flavor

You can also make entries in your computer’s hosts file to create an alias for 127.0.0.1, perhaps “mywp”. Add 127.0.0.1 mywp on its own line in the hosts file (usually in /etc for Linux). Restart your computer. The you can enter https://mywp/flavor in WP settings and access your local site that way.
