Landing Front page based on country IP address

  • Are there any WP plug-ins available to get this functionality – landing page based on country of ip address ?

    Thus if the user comes from US the front page that that user sees is say htttp://www.myblog.com/us/

    if from Australia the front page is say htttp://www.myblog.com/au/

    This would be before any login (if there was one).

    Any help or direction would be great .

  • You need a script to redirect based on IP.

    And a static front page from which to call it ??

    I would STRONGLY suggest you have links on all pages to allow people to manually pick their country, so if an English speaker connects from Japan, they don’t get screwed ?? Not that it ever happened to me. On Google.

    Geoposty looks like it might work though it’s site notes that caching is to be turned off.

    Perhaps using it only for redirects might allow caching ? It seems to.

    No response from their site. Anyone else using it this way. (1600 downloads)?
