landing on the lastest post & category loop

  • Hello,

    Im trying to create a site that lands on the latest post (displaying it as a single post) and has a next and previous navigation which goes through ALL posts.

    I also would like there to be a category navigation menu which when clicked gets the lastest post from that category (again as a single post) and loops through all posts within that category

    any ideas??
