Landing Page type not a choice

    Hi –

    I just installed and activated this plugin for my Modern Portfolio Pro theme.

    I want to change the “attachment page” type to “Landing Page” and this plugin does not include it as an option. HELP!!!!!

    I am, essentially, using the Portfolio section of this theme as a portal, with each image, hopefully, connected to a Landing Page that, then, steps visitors through a conversion process. I’d like nothing else to be on the page, once they click on the image from the Home Page. Hence, the desire for a Landing Page format as an attachment page.

    Can this be done?

    thanks for your feedback!

    This cannot be done with my plugin. I do not provide any support for “Landing page” custom post types (such as via “Premise” plugin or others), because those are always intended to be independend of theme template hierarchy, so Genesis layouts won’t work anyways.

    Also, connecting of (internal) WordPress “attachments” with other post types/ pages is not possible out of the box – not in WordPress and with my plugin also not. You could link from an attachment’s description to any internal or external page if you insert a link manually.

    To do post type connections you might try the popular plugin “Posts 2 Posts” or the premium “Post Connector” by Yoast.

    Any of this has nothing to do with my plugin, which only provides a few default settings for Genesis layouts and some popular occasions – not more, not less.

    Hope that clarifies things a bit more.
