Landing page with download after email form

  • Hello,
    I would love to know which is the best way to make a landing page which let you download a file but only after you sign up in a forum

    1) should I just get name and mail, or is best to let them register to the site?
    2) if registering, how to allow them in a specific form? Can I use CF7 for it?
    3) how should I lock the page only to people who gave the data in the form?
    4) is there a plugin for it?
    5) is there a plugin for doing the same but allowing download after putting like or sharing a page on social?

    basically I’d like to make one of those Facebook ads where you click and end up on a landing page which ask your data to give out a file…

    for landing page, for form submission – mail & name is fine. Can you any email marketing service providers like mailchimp for this purpose.

    2) if registering, how to allow them in a specific form? Can I use CF7 for it?

    You can use contact form 7 as well to create form and have only two fields name and mail and keep autoreply in cf7 configured to send email on confirmation. However to market these subscribers at later stage, email marketing service would be better

    There are content locker plugins available that allow you lock the download on email submission or social share.

    Yes there are. Search for Content locker plugins and you will find plenty.
