language

  • Hello,

    I defined each profile in two languages, the default (french) and english (I’m using mqTranslate). Everything works fine except that: when I’m on the english display of the team, if I click on the image of one individual, it goes to the default (french) profile of the person. I am pretty sure it was working fine before I did the last update of CTM a couple hours ago.

    The two broken links on the right of the menu are supposed to be the english/french flags(I need to fix that).

    “Team members/Membres de l’équipe” (in the middle of the menu) goes to CTM, I chose a different presentation for he english and french display to test them. You’ll see that when you pick a given person in the english display it goes to the french profile.

    Hi Franck,
    It’s caused by your permalink structure. Use “Post name” structure.
    Then go to CMT Settings Page and chose ..
    Show All Members Full Profiles on Single Page: “No”
    Then you’ll a textbox to input Members Progile Page Slug:
    Put there a slug, ex: members
    This should solve your issue.

    Hi Ibnul,

    I did the suggested changes but it does not solve my issue.
    When I select one individual from the page that displays the whole team, the corresponding url does not include the language parameter (there should be something like ?lang=en at the end of the url). So it goes automatically to the default language.
    The GET parameters are somehow lost.

    it’s fine all members are showing.
    and if I click the language button to go to English it’s going to

    and it’s actually team members full profile page instead team members page.
    May be you’ve used wrong shortcode [team-members-profile] instead of
    [team-members] on english team members page.

    Hi Ibnul,

    The english and french pages differ is done on purpose. This was to show the different possible display modes to the team members. I changed that and now use [team-members] for both but that was not the issue.
    The problem is that clicking on one team member on the english page send to the his/her profile but without the ?lang=en, so on the default (french) profile. You can try.

    I have the same problem with polylang.
    I believe it’s because on the setting of custom team management, we have to Select Members Full Profile Page.
    How can we select two different page for french or english language.
