Please excuse me I’ve surfed the forum but I could not get a clear answer about it.
what I need: when you press the button Request a quotation an e-mail form appears, at the botton of this form you have to options SEND OR CLOSE, well I need these 2 options to be translated to Spanish, ENVIAR Y CERRAR.What I’ve found: files that I can find inside the file Languages in woocommerce-catalog-enquiry:
- woocommerce-catalog-enquiry-bg_BG.mo
- woocommerce-catalog-enquiry-bg_BG.po
- woocommerce-catalog-enquiry-en_US.mo
- woocommerce-catalog-enquiry-en_US.po
- woocommerce-catalog-enquiry.pot
What I’ve already tried:
1)Download the file woocommerce-catalog-enquiry-en_US.po, translated with poedit, and created a new file with the name es_ES.po & es_ES.mo, I have uploaded these 2 files to the file Languages, Nothing Happens , I assume this is normal. At the end there is also the translation bg_BG, but I do not know how activate it.
2)Download the file:
woocommerce-catalog-enquiry-en_US.po, changed the word needed and uploaded again with the same name, Nothing Happens3)Download the file:

The nice way to solve this would be to translate the plugin to Spanish (Spain) at https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/woocommerce-catalog-enquiry/dev/es/default
Note that at least 95% of the strings in the code need to be translated (and approved by the translation editors for #es_ES team) before the language pack is generated and distributed. If you choose to do this, then it would be good to get acquainted with https://es.www.ads-software.com/colabora/traducciones/guia-de-traductores/ first.
Note that in order to work your language file needs to be put in
/wp-content/languages/plugins/woocommerce-catalog-enquiry-es_ES.mo(the po file is nice to put there, too, but when WordPress runs it uses the .mo file.)
Also: the en_US files are never referred to, since WordPress regard the original strings in the code to be en_US, regardless of which language they actually are.
If this still doesn’t work, then you might look at the plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/say-what/ that allows you to specifically overwrite certain strings in your WordPress installation.
