language-[content-] switcher in mega menu – without any ml-system – doable!?

  • dear community,

    first of all: i really love the Max-Mega-Menu. it is one of the most impressive plugins i know! And i need it for my new site concepts:

    i just plan to create a new site where i use

    – Max-Mega-Menü
    – etc. etx

    estimated textamount max 2000 words – in five languages: german, english; french, spanish, italien
    note: the texts are allready translated – the

    what is aimed: i want to add all those texts in to the max-mega-menu:

    idea: can i do this with a added (language-[content] )switcher in the mega menu

    guess: i guess that this is possible – without using a multilang system eg. like:

    -WPML
    -Polylang
    -Weglot
    -TranslatePress

    again; since i only have a little amount of text which is allready translated completely i guess that i do not need a multilang system. I guess that a (language- [content])-switcher will be sufficient to arrrange this.

    to explain this in this example: i have infos about the animals in five languages: german, english; french, spanish, italien: all the texts are translated allready…

    I don’t think I understand fully sorry.

    I think at this point the best thing for you to do would be to set up a test site and try both approaches and see which one works best for you.

    many thanks for the quick reply. Great to hear from you. Well – the question is:

    do we have an option to switch content eg. to show at one time

    german to
    spanish to
    italian to
    english to
    french ….

    so the question is do we have some kind of switcher…. ?
    that enables me to swith the language … of the content

    Hi say_hello,

    Not within MMM on its own, but if you install a translation plugin (wpml or polylang) you will be able to add their language switcher to your menu.
