    Hello,

    website url : https://www.surgimedex.in

I placed the shortcode in a text widget(in header section) and it seems to be working but only when i load a page first time in browser. The problem is, on subsequent page refresh the language drop down tends to disappear along with google branding !

I also noticed when i cleared the page cache (in W3 cache plugin), it again starts working but only for that single page load(disappearing after a page refresh).

I guess it could be a caching plugin interfering with the proper working of language translator ? I am using Autoptimize for CSS and JS minifying/caching and w3 total cache for page, browser and DB cache.

I tried to find the script to exclude from caching and i found one translator script in the page source (//translate.google.com/translate_a/element.js?cb=initializeGoogleTranslateElement”). I excluded element.js in Autoptimize but it was of no use. Still facing the same trouble !

    Can you please help ?

    Regards,
    Jas

    Hello,

thanks for the link to your site.

From what I’m able to see, seems like the Autoptimize plugin is removing the javascript code that initializes the translator, and perhaps it’s placing it somewhere else, but I don’t really see where.

First, try to disable the javascript code optimize settings.

    Let me know.

    Regards

    Thanks for your response !!

excluded “google_translate_element” in exclude java script option (Autoptmize plugin settings). This fixed the issue.
