Where did you place the German language file? In the wp-content/plugins/wp-store-locator/languages folder? If so, then when an update is installed you will loose it.

You need to place them in the /wp-content/languages/wp-store-locator folder to make sure they keep working after installing an update.

    Hi Tijmen,

yes, i placed it in the wp-content/plugins/wp-store-locator folder. But nothing happens. And don′t have an wp-store-locator folder under /wp-content/languages.

You will have to create the wp-store-locator folder yourself under /wp-content/languages if it’s not there.

If that also doesn’t work, can you send the translated files to tijmen at wpstorelocator.co, and I will see if they work for me.

Did you create the opening hours in version 1.x, or in 2.0? You used the dropdowns? Did you enter them with the language set to English, and later added the German translations? If you create a new location, are the days in English or German?

    Hi Tijmen,

I have exactly the same problem, but for me it was not working even in the last version (prior update few days ago).

I have placed new trannslated mo&po files in /wp-content/languages/wp-store-locator but nothing happens…

You asked when new location is created if days are being translated. Well, just tried that and, no, working hours aren`t even shown for new test location.
In all old ones I have more info and working hours are there, not translated but are there. For test on new one, there aren`t…

    thx

@nandra have a look at this post why they don’t show by default, and a fix to make them show.

I create it in version 2.0 an i use the dropdown. The curios thing is, in the Backend, the Translation works. But not in the frontend. The File is placed in the wp-content/plugins/wp-store-locator/languages folder. The /wp-content/languages/wp-store-locator Folder is not working.

I think now it works. I’ve changed in a store, the opening times, now they will be displayed in German.
