Language files not recognized

Hello,

I translated part of the plugin to Slovenian language but somehow I just can’t get language .po and.mo files to work with my website.

Changed name to: wp-gdpr-compliance-sl_Sl.mo and wp-gdpr-compliance-sl_SI.po and upload both files to wp-content/plugins/wp-custom-widget-area/languages and wp-content/languages/plugins (just to be sure) and still can’t get translation to work.

Is there maybe some kind of bug or known issues with the translation files?
