Language for Tablepress

    I’ve created an English page here, but the “number of results drop down menu and search options are in Dutch for the Tablepress plug in. My browser settings (Firefox, Chrome) and mobile are set to English.

    Is there a way to force Tablepress to either use the locale settings or even hard force into English using CSS?

    I’ve tried from another example [table id=1 datatables_language=en_EN /] but did not have the desired effect

    Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!

    You have two options here:

    Please try again with en_US as the parameter value in the Shortcode (and not en_EN).

    Or, and probably better: Change the site language to English, on the general settings screen of WordPress. It’s currently set to Dutch, which is why TablePress uses that as the language. However, if the site content is in English, the language should be set to English as well, so that e.g. search engines will recognize this properly. Then, if you prefer to have the user interface in Dutch, you can change the language again to Dutch in the user profile of your WordPress user.
