Language issue

  • I have a site, that was originally intended to have German and French versions in addition to the English. However, the French version idea has been scrapped.

    The weird thing is that it shows that there are 8 French articles – but not a single published page or posts has French equivalents, and there are no deleted content.

    Can I safely delete the French language despite that? Or can something go horrifically wrong?
