Language locale disappearing

    Hi all,

    Hope I can get your help with the following issue:

    Twice over the last 24 hours 1 of 3 language locales (ru_RU) got broken (see the screenshot)

    I was trying to Edit Russian locale (both times it was in question) and add the locale ru_RU and the flag, but it didn’t help.

    Deleting the broken locale and installing it again means I have to go through all 48 pages and 150+ media files to re-link languages.

    Is there an easier way to fix this issue and prevent it happening again?

    Yes, I’ve used WP Sweep plugin a quite regularly, but only twice Polylang’s locale got broken (both times it was Russian one)

    Do you believe it’s WP Sweep and I should avoid sweeping the DB?

    Hopefully, you made a database backup before. This kind of plugin can indeed “sweep” too much.

    We added a compatibility with WP Sweep to avoid this kind of issue in the past, but it’s possible that an update of WP Sweep or Polylang made this inefficient. Well, no. Our compatibility prevented another issue. Not this one.
