• Hi Folks,

I’m using the Polylang plugin to create a bilingual website with the Ryan theme.

Everything works fine, except one thing: the slider and the 3 content areas with icons and texts are not displayed on the homepage if I switch to the secondary language.
Even if they were displayed, I can’t see where to set the translation of their content.

Can anyone help me with this?

    Thanks in advance!

1st part of the problem solved: I didn’t add a translation for the homepage, so there was nothing to display when switched to the secondary language…

But I struggling the 2nd problem: is there any way to set translation for the content areas?

    Thanks!

    Hello @kakonyitibor,

You need to create your own home page then you can home page translation ready as you did for other pages.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Manoj,

    Thanks for your help.
Home page and its translation page are created. The problem is that the text of template-specific elements (slider, 3 content areas) can’t be set in the pages menu, they can be set only in the Customization menu, and there is no field for their translation.

Do you have any idea to solve this problem?

    Thanks,
    Tibor
