Yes we can! This bug was due to your WordPress version. Chouby has just fixed it in 1.8.2. It should work now.
I know that you want too have the el
url, and it’s possible.
But to avoid lost your links between your translation, could you please follow the steps below.
1) Go in your wp_terms
table then replace pll_el
by pll_el-2
. It’s very important.
2) Then return in your wordpress admin and update Polylang to the 1.8.2.
3) Now the Settings should appear. Resave your Polylang settings (Settings > languages > Settings > URL modifications).
4) Go in the “Languages” tab, then check that you have your flag for the Greek and with the code ‘el-2’. Check that your strings (Strings Translation option) have been saved correctly. And check for your Posts and Pages that you have well the link between the translations.
5) If all is fine you can edit the Greek in the language table then replace el-2
by el
.
