    Hello,

I use the language version “Deutsch(Sie)” for my WordPress-Website. And I can′t figure out, how to use the language file “contact-form-7-image-captcha-de_DE.mo”. Currently the plugin uses the standard english language.

  • Hello,
Currently the plugin only supports Deutsch.
Someone just recently sent me the translation files for Deutsch(sie) for the PRO version which I plan on adding to the free version once I find time to look it over and upload it since both plugins are slightly different from each other.

You can also look at the link below to help translate it through WordPress’ online Translation system, once 95% of it is translated through the link below WordPress will automatically create a language package that will be added to your site.

    Hey Kyle,

many thanks. I translated all entries of the development trunk this morning.

Is translating the development readme optional or mandatory?

Best & thanks for your help

    Thomas

The read me file is optional.
I’ll contact one of the language editors to see if they can approve it.
    Have a great day!

    Deutsch(Sie) Added

also we cant use Deutch (Sie), we see only die (Du) Version on our page.

    Hello,
I see that German and German Formal language files have been completed.

Could it be that you need Dutch (Formal) instead?
    https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/contact-form-7-image-captcha/dev/nl/formal/

If German Formal is the correct one then maybe your site has not checked for updated language packs. You can try to go to your sites update page or deactivate and reactivate the plugin to see if WordPress rechecks for the language pack. You could also quickly change the site to another language like German and then back to German Formal to see if WordPress fetches the updated language packs.

also i do this, i change the language to english and then to Deutsch (Sie), wp say no updates and when i check the page then its in (Du).

Hi, i still have the same problem.
i checked the language file (contact-form-7-image-captcha-de_DE.po) of the plugin and there is the correct formal version Deutsch(Sie), but in the frontend it still shows the Deutsch(Du) sentence.

Has anyone an idea how to change it?
    i would appreciate any help.
    thanks and best regards
    Marcus

    Hello Marcus,

did you use the Deutsch(Sie) language version in your WordPress settings?

    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,
that helped, I thought, because of the po files delivered within the plugin that would not be necessary.

thank you very much for that very fast reply.

    best regards
