At least the buttons that are shown are in english. Is there also a dutch version, or could I create that myself?
I do not remember whether there were also error-messages in english.

Are you talking about the buttons at the end of the posts? The main icons (which you place via widget, or floating) are just icons, with no text. So you mean the share-button at the end of the posts?

I meant the icons that an end-user sees when he activates the round Facebook icon. It shows three buttons, a.o. visit us!

Ah, ok. No. currently those cannot be changed. But we’ll take it up as an improvement suggestion.

Leon, here’s an “almost” work around if you’re able to roll your sleeves, put your diving gear and tweak images:
– FTP on your site and download the content of /wp-content/plugins/ultimate-social-media-icons/images/visit_icons (that’s where the hover icons are in english)
– Fire up an image editor of your choice
– Duplicate the images as a backup in case everything goes wrong
– Open each image and modify it to covert the english text with yours then save
– If you haven’t fainted by now, you’re good to go… : upload the modified images back on your Website exactly at the same place where you downloaded your images and overwrite the existing one.

The “almost” work around is that even though you modify the icons, some pick there language from somewhere else. On my site it’s a mixed of french and english… ? So to John, if you’re able to pull the language from some icon, why not do it for all ! But I gotta give it you: it’s a hell of a plugin with many features, controls and works very well as described, kudos, BUT, there’s the language issue…
