language-sitemap.xml is missing at Yoast SEO sitemap

This is the expected result. There is no need for https://www.sergeyorlovphoto.com/language-sitemap.xml

https://www.sergeyorlovphoto.com/page-sitemap.xml includes all the pages in all languages.

It’s possible (I did not check) that a change introduced in WP 4.4 and fixed in WP 4.5 made this language sitemap visible but it was not intended.

But there is one problem in such a case: “language-sitemap.xml” was the only sitemap file where one can find different homepage URLs with pretty permalinks: https://www.sergeyorlovphoto.com/en/ and https://www.sergeyorlovphoto.com/ru/

Unfortunately, in both remaining https://www.sergeyorlovphoto.com/page-sitemap.xml and https://www.sergeyorlovphoto.com/post-sitemap.xml I could only see just the main site URL https://www.sergeyorlovphoto.com/ without any “/en/” or “/ru/”. Even more, in post-sitemap.xml the main site URL included twice. So, it seems that outer world doesn’t know that these different homepages for differenet languages exist…

Maybe, I missed something and it’s not a problem from SEO perspective?

I understand the issue. It’s true that, depending on your options, the languages home pages don’t appear in any of the yoast sitemaps. I will fix that in v1.9.

Having more or less the same issue.
Only the default site language content within the xlm files
2nd and 3rd languages (EN and NL) do not.
(even set a fresh default WP site up on subdomain usa default lang + FR as 2nd lang – with these two plugins get same XML issue) See the reply from Yoast support (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/feature-request-538/)…
I’m here as Yoast suggest, asking for some guidance on settings.
