Hi, can you please tell me what CSS code should I use to fix the Language switcher widgets in the Menu and the footer. There’s no options of customizing the widget’s looks.
The width of the widget is wrong in both cases.

You can see the problems here:
    Switcher menu
    Switcher footer

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The width of the language switcher is provided by the theme that you are using.
Generally speaking the HTML that we generate takes on the style of your theme.

Now, if you don’t like what your theme is doing, then you can either add your own CSS to the theme’s style.css or use a visual style editor such as this one:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/yellow-pencil-visual-theme-customizer/

Also , try increasing the width of the class=”elementor-widget-container”
or removing the widget and using the basic floater that comes from translatepress.

Let me know how this goes.

Thank you Dragos for the answer. I’ll keep tinkering with the CSS.

Using the floater creates other problems – related to the JetPopups plugin that I’m using (the popups are not displayed correctly).
There is also a conflict with the “Scroll to top” button position (I can’t make them stand one next to the other when I’m checking the responsive behaviour).
I might make another post about it if I can’t figure it out how to fix it using only CSS and I’ll be forced to use the floater.

    Hello,

You can also try the following:

Go to: TranslatePress -> Settings -> Advanced

Then, enable these features 1 by 1 in this order and try to see if it makes a difference. Also please disable or clear the cache if you have any.

    1. Fix missing dynamic content
    2. Disable dynamic translation
    3. Fix spaces between HTML attributes
    4. Fix broken HTML

    With the best regards,

I’ll look into it. Thank you again for all the suggestions.
