Language switcher – custom link on every url

    Hi,

    On small sites there is no need for a multilanguage plugin, I can just duplicate the pages in a language specific subdirectory and translate those pages. In addition, I am using the language switcher widget in the header.

    Right now, all I can do is to link the English language to the base folder like xyz.com/en/

    However, let’s say I am on an internal page like xyz.com/morgen (which is for instance in German). On this xyz.com/morgen page in the header with the language switcher how could I make the English link go to xyz.com/morning instead of just the base language URL xzy.com.

    Some kind dynamic url insertion?

    That’s why a multilingual plugin exists and why you should use it ??

    Anyway, this query is actually not related to Astra as you will have the same thing with other themes.
