Language switcher does not show correct language

    Hi. I have this issue. I have two languages on elementor. I have created two different menus for Greek and English language and have assigned them as main Greek and main English. Nevertheless, when I press the language switcher, the menu is not all in English. Two of the menu items stay Greek.

    When i edit the header and I swap the menu to another and then back to the English, it shows the correct language. But as soon as I click save and visit the homepage, the problem is still there.

    Hi

    Please double check your menu structure. Make sure you have not accidentally assigned the incorrect language pages.

    use the language switcher at the top of the page and only select one language when you are building your menu.

    Thank you for your reply. I have checked every possible thing and it does not seem that the problem was caused by me. I have send an email to the email address that you posted.

    Hi again. I disabled the forum plugin, as you suggested that this might be causing a problem with the translation of my menu but nothing changed. I also changed the setting of the permalink. No change. I would appreciate some more help if it is possible.

    Do you have a running backup now?

    Then I can login to see what can be the issue again.

    I have a backup yes but please let me know before you change something major.

    Are there active users on the site?

    Alternatively, I can pull the backup and restore it locally.

    Active users are the Admin and Zoi. I have stored a backup with UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore.

    Hello,

    I am encountering an issue with Polylang’s language switcher widget.
    I recently translated my website from English to French. (Please note that the default language for my site is in English)
    Notice in the screenshot below that I placed the Polylang switcher in my English Header template and customized it to my preference.

    note that up until now, I have not faced any issue.
    I then translated my English header template to French. See the screenshot below.

    Now that I created a separate french template, I would like to customize it within Elementor. See the image link below.

    Notice that in the screenshot above, I choose to hide the current language, which essentially would be French since I created a French template. I would like for the language switcher widget that is on the French version of my site to display English so for anyone who is on the french site and would like to go visit the English version, they would have the option through the language switcher.

    This issue may also be affecting my french search results from not displaying any content yet if I search for a specific term in English, all the results related to that word appear.

    My site is hosted locally, therefore not allowing me to share my URL.
