Language switcher link

I have a website with 2 languages FR and EN.
I have enabled the language switcher in the menu.
When i’m on the FR page, the FR Link in the menu is ok. it’s like “https://fr.mywebsite.com/pageFR”. But the English link is wrong, it’s “https://fr.mywebsite.com/pageFR#www.mywebsite.com/pageEN”.. why it’s not just “https://www.mywebsite.com/pageEN” ?
The inverse happen on the other language ?
Because with the # it doesn’t work.
