    Hi,

    I really like your plugin, thank you! I have a network with two languages (german and french) and everything is fine (The pages/posts are connected and also the categories and tags). But I have a monthly archive in the sidebar and when I try the flag for the alternative language I always come only to the homepage. This happens in both languages. So the link is not correct.

    So here comes my question: Are the months/years not connected with the plugin? Or do I have to connect them somewhere in my network?

    I use the sidebar widget for the language switcher.

  • You can find an experimental add-on plugin for that on our tools page. It is not part of the core, because that would require one extra database query for each language, and some of our users have up to 20 languages. Imagine how slow that would be …

    So, until we find a fast way to return reliable links, this stays in the add-on.

    Thanks a lot for your answer! It works with xour add-on-plugin.
    I’m sorry I had to ask but I didn’t know about your tools page….

    Actually, that add-on wasn’t there until you asked.

    I have written it once for our premium support forum, then forgot it. Now I have rewritten and published it to make it better – and available for all users. ??
