Language Switcher only shows current

I am using the following setting on the menu in my site’s footer:

#qtransLangSw?type=LM&flags=all&current=hidden

I have created a test page with content for EN, JA, and ES. The page only displays the flag of the current language and not the other two. If I change the URL manually to another language, the flag changes to that language, but still no other options. I’ve tried playing with / removing the parameters from the menu, but it doesn’t appear to do anything different. What am I missing?
