The language switcher is showing English and Russian even though Russian has no published posts or pages. Polylang does not appear to have any issues with the other plugins or the theme so it’s a mystery to why the switcher is still showing both languages.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

    Hi,

I don’t reproduce on my test install.

On admin, go in the Languages page. Look at the Posts column. If it is non zero for Russian, it probably means that you have some content in Russian. If it is non zero and you are sure that you did not associate any content to Russian, you can try to delete the language and create it again.

If it is zero, then try to switch to Twenty Seventeen and deactivate all plugins to check if the issue is not coming from a conflict.

    Hi Chouby,

Deleting the language and then reassigning the posts seems to have solved the issue. Originally, there was only 17 posts that were associated with Russian though on the Polylang plugin on the Language page it said that we had 23 posts.

    Thanks
