• Hello

I have a problem with Polylang switching languages. Sometimes I get stuck in a language, I have to delete the cache to make it work again.

There are two languages available on my website:
    French: mywebsite.fr
    English: mywebsite.fr/en/

To reproduce the bug (in my case at least):
    1. Let’s say we start on mywebsite.fr
    2. I click on the UK flag and I am redirected to mywebsite.fr/en/
    3. I leave the site and come back to mywebsite.fr
(or I change the URL by hand to remove “en” and press “enter”)
    4. I am redirected to mywebsite.fr/en/
    5. And I can never go on the French version again. When I click on the French flag, I am redirected to mywebsite.fr/en/ and if I enter the URL mywebsite.fr in my browser, I am also redirected to mywebsite.fr/en/.

    Is this a known problem?
    Do you have a solution?

  • Same problem here with WP (5.4.1) using DIVI with Polylang plugin (2.7.2). All updated to current versions
At the moment, I have deactivated Polylang but the menus do not change from Greek to English
    1. When I activate it, there is a mix on URLS and English page links do not work.
    2. Also at the WP –> Pages tab –> All pages, when polylang is activated only pages in English are shown and not in Greek.

    Site is https://www.glavopoulos.com

    Hello!

The problem is still there and I need an answer.

In the meantime I have disabled “Detect browser language”, it works even if it is not optimal. (someone who leaves the site in .fr/en/ and comes back to .fr will not be redirected to .fr/en/).
But even with this solution there is a problem. Visitors who still have the cache in their browser are still blocked on .fr/en/.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!
