    We have added string translation for the cookie plugin using WPML
    However when we go to the Italian Language and then go back to the English Site, the content of the English Language gets modified with the content of Italian
    The English content is overwritten with Italian content

    We have checked your site and found that for every language selection, the banner remains in English only. Kindly make sure you have completed the translation of the Plugin by going through the documentation from here.

    We have used the string translation by WPML to translate the text for different languages
    As you can see from the screenshot the link is different for ITALIAN (“/it/cookie-policy/”)

    We are using the following Domain : admin_texts_CookieLawInfo-0.9

    This works for the 1st time when we update it
    Later the UK string is overwritten with ITALIAN

    Other Domain translations are working fine on the website

    Hi @ideasunlimited,

    We have checked your site and found that you are using an old version of the plugin, kindly update it. Then please go to GDPR Cookie Settings > Settings > Customise buttons > Read More link and set the URL of the page for the default language and save. Then go to string translation in WPML under the domain ‘admin_text_CookieLawInfo-0.9’ please look for [CookieLawInfo-0.9]button_2_url and add the other links as translations, you may refer to Screenshot 1 2 3. Also please refer here for more details on translation using WPML.

    On the screenshot shared by you, it is observed that you have used the link to the cookie policy page URL directly in the translation of the cookie banner message text. Please remove that and add [cookie_link] shortcode there.
