    Hi All!

I enjoyed SimpleMemb main version (English), but I want to make a coutry-subsite to my project (in polish language) and it will be nice to see the login panel, infos and comments from SM plugin in polish language when installed on site.
I saw, that polish language version is listed as available, but I cannot find it in fact – downloading zip file I still have the same Enlish version..

Could Anyone write a tip about it?
Or maybe language vers. are paid only?
And – do they really transfer to choosen langugage all the interface and comments from Plugin?

    II (Second Issue);
    – If it is possible to change the content of login panel, words used, info which shows before and after login and all that to freely choosen? For example: deleting subscription and profile section, naming user and login by some other word ..?

    Thank You for any help
    best regards
    Mat

    II (Second Issue);
    – If it is possible to change the content of login panel, words used, info which shows before and after login and all that to freely choosen? For example: deleting subscription and profile section, naming user and login by some other word ..?

Can you provide more information. I want to make sure I understand what you are trying to achieve.

    Thank you.

Thank You very much for above info!

I just checked, that – I don’t need special knowdledge, to do it?
But as I see at the description and last point “Once you complete your translation, click on the following link Contact to send the translated .mo and .po files. The developers will add your translation to the plugins next release version.”
    – after translation I cannot simply add and use the new translated version at my website, but only send it to approve to developers?

About changing content I simply mean to, for example, change name “login” for “xxx” or, for example, other panel options will not appear at all?

    best regards

    Hi,

About changing content I simply mean to, for example, change name “login” for “xxx” or, for example, other panel options will not appear at all?

Are you wanting to change the word Login in the login widget to a Polish translation?

Could I use language pack polish in zip which is listed here:

    Yes you can.

iF i MAY, I understand to upload it into right place in my ftp/site/plugins/folder ?

The following is an example of the language folder path: yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/simple-membership/languages/.

    Kind regards.

    Hello!
Thank You very much for Your support, my apologies for late response. Now I had to work to cutomize it real world..

    1) I have uploaded SM plugin main zip package using dashboard plugin adding/installing.
I have noticed, that it already appear in polish language (( have installed WP in polish lang. before at that subsite..).
I check the folder plugins/language and saw inside all languages files, PL too..
But I uploaded mine from unzpipped package PL, which I downloaded.
    I uploaded this two files:
    – simple-membership-pl_PL.mo
    – simple-membership-pl_PL.po

The language version, with some style errors, seems active!

But I have strange issue – important and basic – I have tried re-installing etc.

After I log in with created user to see the restricted post I see form with info (typical which shows after log-in), but when I go to the post, which I wanted to see – it is still info about “login or registration” and I cannot see anything!
I try to log-in again and: again, I have info about successful log-in, but going to posts restricted, the whole system behaves like login was unsuccessful.

    Any tips?

    Best regards!

    Mat

Are you logging in with an administration account or are you logging in with a new membership account “none administration”?

    Regards.

    Hi, Thank You for question.

Of course, I log out as administrator.
I want to test a real situation, where a not-logged person try to login.

    I have installed now add-on
    “simple-membership-after-login-redirection”

Result is that, I remain at the login page (the article/page, which I want to see – and log in, to see it) – but it is still info: LOG IN to see the content.
So, that add-on works. but all function of login to view content on member level do not work!
I created 2 levels and 2 memebers – each at one level – and try to log in to level 1 or level 2 content post – but same result.

At this site WordPress is installed in polish version – and SimpleMemb plugins after installing automatically choose PL.
    So –
how can I check if it is language version fault?
    Or I couldn’t do what?

    regards

Hi, I just finished carrying out a test in my dev site. This is what I did.

    1) I created two Free membership levels.
    2) I added two members. Each member is assigned a different membership level.
    3) I have 4 different post. In two of the post I assigned different membership levels.
    4) I used a different browser for this test. I logged in with one of the members and the member could only view the content of the post with the corresponding membership level assigned. I logged out and carried out the same task with the other member.
    5) Conclusion both members could only view the content that was assigned to their corresponding membership level.

I can confirm that this works as expected. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the issue you are experiencing in your site.

You might like to carry out the following troubleshooting steps.

    Kind regards.

    Thank You.

I want to underline, that bug which Ive experienced is only in PL language version.
In English – default – everything works as should.

Could You tell how I can determine or “turn on/turn off” language version?

BEcause PL (polish language) version activates automatically when I have uploded SimpleMembership plugin to wordpress site installed in polish.
Before any my user setting or language version upload..

When I have wordpress site in English, SimpleMembership plugin works in English.

    I have very simply question:
    – How can I set the langauge version?
For example if I want to run PL version on English wordpress installation
or English (default) version of SimpMemb plugin on wordpress installation in polish?

I will delete and make another wordpress site in polish/english to test it, but it is crucial to know how to set the version

    best regards

Hi, I just did a test in my Spanish dev site and it also works as expected in Spanish. This tells me that the issue is with your Polish translation.

If you want to only use the English translation then setup your site in English only. There might be a way to use the default “English” language in your Polish site using a third party plugin like Loco Translate https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/loco-translate/.

    Kind regards.
