Language widget not linking to translated category page

  • When I go to a category page
    (doesn’t matter if it default language or translated), for example:
    “example.com/category/category-name” or
    “example.com/fr/category/category-name”
    language widget doesn’t link to another page (instead to home url).

    Changing language on pages and posts works just fine.

    Could you provide a link to your site? Which Polylang version do you use?

    I couldn’t get it to work so I created a custom post type with hierarchy to achieve a desired effect.
    I used the latest version of Polylang (the one that was released 3 days ago).
