• Hello,

As descripted i changed the 2 language files en upload them by ftp in the lang folder.
I translate the English files to Dutch.

Unfortunately i do not see the language option in de WP-Cloudy module.
(There is no option under basic option Custom timezone? ) Different then screenshot I have seen.
Next thing I tried, changed the new files to the old names, but nothing happens, the language is still English. What am i missing here?
    Thanks in advance
    Greetz Jeroen

    Hi,
how do you called your PO/MO files?
The best solution is to send them to me at [email protected]
    Thank you

    Hi,
i’ve no language option in the WP-cloudy module settings, or in the WP-cloudy instance in admin.
In the screenshots on wp cloudy, there is a dropdownlist with language choice.

    thanks.

    Hi,
this is because WP Cloudy automatically used your WordPress language defined in general settings.

so it doesn’t use it well for the widget.
My language in general settings is French
i use WPML and i have 2 languages : French (default) and English which is used for /en/… urls
I created two widgets in “Weather” menu. One for French, One for english.
But when the widget is displayed on english page, it is still in french.
So the widget doesn’t take care of the language defined by WPML. (constant ICL_LANGUAGE_CODE for example, which carries the language : fr for french, en for english, …)

Can we fix this in order to fix the widget language to target the WPML language?
    thanks

I added a display for get_locale() in wpcloudy_init() function, just before load_plugin_textdomain and it displays en_US on english pages, and fr_FR on french pages. So the locale is well overrided by WPML.
but WPCloudy doesn’t take care of this.

Do you have the problem if you paste the shortcode inside a page instead of a text widget?

yes this is typically my case : the shortcode is in the page (php) of the theme and not in a widget.
