    Hi,

    I am loving this theme. I have recently been putting more effort into my site but a common issue I run into is when I am considering a new widget or feature, it often end sup looking broken because it gets formatted differently.

    I had this issue with other widgets/short codes before. This time I want to add content using Ultimate Shortcode however when I add it to the home page I get a large gap between the content and the lower border. I have used different widgets with the short code to the same result. Is the problem with the themes CSS file? Would anyone have a solution to this? I don’t mind doing some reading to fix the issue but I would appreciate some guidance or a solution to the problem because its hindering a lot of the changes I want to make and I just don’t know much about CSS.

    Thank you for any of your time.

  • Hi taha116,

    thanks for using MH Joystick lite.

    Can you please provide an example on your website and show what exactly you mean with “large blank spaces”?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply, I went ahead and added some short code and also screenshoted how a google ad looks in the text widget. I gave a more extreme and less extreme example. I hope the images are helpful.

    A little extra unintended space:
    slightly bigger gap
    Note* obviously there is a certain amount of padding between content and the border but it looks like it thinks the content goes on longer than it should.

    Big gap
    A lot of extra gap, this one is strange, when I adjusted the carousel to display 3 larger images instead of the 4 you see it reduced a portion of the extra space. Though still not enough to look practical.

    The little space under your ad is set by your Google AdSense code:

    <ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:inline-block;width:675px;height:90px" data-ad-client="ca-pub-36046xxx" data-ad-slot="9470827xxx" data-adsbygoogle-status="done">...</ins>

    You can tweak responsive Google AdSense ad units as you like, see: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/6307124

    Regarding the shortcode, please put that on your site and provide the URL so that we can see that live.

    Thanks, ill look into the adsense code to tweak it.

    I have added the shortcode to the bottom of the site at
    https://khaotixgaming.com/

    The shortcode is:
    [su_carousel source=”media: 810,809,796,794,790,785,782,779,764,762″ limit=”10″ link=”post” items=”4″ title=”no”]

    Thanks, we’ve checked it and the space below your shortcode isn’t added by the theme. You could contact the plugin developers for more insights. Maybe this is a common issue with their plugin and possibly they have a simple fix.

    Also, the plugin is adding additional margin below the carousel:

    .su-carousel-centered {
        margin: 0 auto 1.5em auto;
    }
