    Hi All,

I got a small problem that I cannot figure out. On my site: https://www.aihcp.org/blog there is a large white empty area between the content, posts, etc and the next post, comment, etc. This white empty area goes straight down to the end of the side menu. I’m stumped and do not know how to bring the other posts, comments, etc up to eliminate the empty white space. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thx

    John

  • I think it is the javascript being run to bring in the social icons. When they are gone the page looks fine.

    Try
?deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin (read https://bit.ly/UhpkLl if you need help). Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
?switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems. If you can’t log in to change themes, you can remove or rename the theme folders via FTP so the only one is twentyeleven. That will force your site to use it.

caused by the ‘sharedaddy’ css ‘https://www.aihcp.org/blog/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/sharedaddy/sharing.css’

there seem to be few ‘clear: both;’ styles too many in the stylesheet of the plugin which interfere with your theme.

possibly post in the ‘jetpack’ plugin support section: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/jetpack

Thank you very much. It was a problem with jet pack. I’m just going to deactivate jet pack for now and find the error later.

    Again thank you both!
