Large form too slow, with lagging

You could be on to something. A couple of years ago, I implemented some performance improvements, but when I test the form I created back then (https://conditional-fields-cf7.bdwm.be/form-tester/?test-form=lots+of+conditions) I see that there’s a noticeable delay when clicking a checkbox.

I will check and see if I can improve the performance again. To help me speed things up, could you add your form to the form tester https://conditional-fields-cf7.bdwm.be/form-tester/ and share the link here? (Alternatively, since you are a pro user, you can send the link to me personally if you want to keep it private.)

We bought the PRO plugin in the past but we have no access to the account, so I can’t share privately, if I create a link un the form tester, it only lasts 10 days?

Remember we are using an older version of the plugin, I don’t know if this will have some impact on performance also. If this is a problem we will buy the PRO version again and reinstall, but we wanted to be sure before.

Forms get cleaned up occasionally, but this is something I trigger manually, so your test form will not be removed until your problem is resolved.

The problem is not related to the version of the plugin neither if using pro or free version. I have also compared the problems in our website and in the form tester and they are the same. Large CPU consumption and lag.

This is happening in different machines, I’m using an intel i7 with 16GB RAM

Hey @hawaiirealestate, thank you for the suggestion.

Just tried but nothing changes. I think something in the way the fields are shown and hidden is taking many CPU resources and the lag happens.

Maybe @jules-colle can see what could be happening and how to fix this.
