Large Import / Migration

    I was wondering if anyone had a good way of importing about 2,000 events from a non WP database with featured images and some metadata. The Ultimate Csv Importer plugin does a pretty good job of bringing everything in, but you have to click an Admin link, and then click the Update button in the WP Post editor for each event. I saw something about an EM Importer feature on the EM site that said it was in Beta, but I can’t find any more info about it. Any help is appreciated.

    As you say, a importer is being developed. Unfortunately, I can’t give you an ETA on it at the moment.

    How much time does it need to be completed?

    So it’s done already. I was able to use the ultimate csv importer plugin to map to a lot of the right fields. I had to use a leading space to map to Events Manager fields in the EM database and the posts meta fields. After that, I had to click on update for each event to make it actually publish the complete event with featured images.
