Large list of tags in Edit option

  • Hello,

    I am trying to add a very large list of tags to posts in bulk, i am doing the following All Posts >> Select all (it select 30 per page) >> Bulk Action >> Edit >> Enter all the tags i want to (they are around 150+), Click Save, it give the option that its updated but its not, please help me how to adjust.

  • If you’re using a caching plugin, empty the cache.
    If that doesn’t help, try repairing your database via Cpanel (phpmyadmin)

    There is no caching plugin installed, I also tried repairing database via Phpmyadmin, but the issue is still intact.

    Please help.

    Did you try to reduce the numer of tags that you’re adding. I mean, you do everything as you described but you add only, for example, 30 tags (not 150 at once). Does that work?
    On the other hand, can you post the link to your site? Or, did you try to view your site from another machine, or in another browser. It might be cached in your browser.

    Thanks for your reply, well sir well it do work when I decrease the number from 150 to somewhat around 30 or 40.

    Is there any numbers that I need to increase in settings etc? I desperately need a solution.

    It’s really hard to say what could be causing your problem but, if you don’t have thousands of posts to change, why don’t you add 30 tags, then the next 30 and so on. I know it’s a pain in the butt but since i can troubleshoot from distance, you can use the one way, no matter how boring and slow, and make the changes you need.

    we have around 50k posts, imagine how much time consuming it would be.

    Really desperate to have some solution for this ??
